⭐ i work from home as a community coordinator for a game dev. basically i do a lot of moderating, talking to people, and helping out with support emails from time to time. i also am one of the main people to send community feedback directly to the dev. by the look of my page you can probably guess what dev i work for......... (i'm kidding i work for the stardew valley dev)
⭐ i went to uni for writing and art, eventually settling on a professional writing degree. however i dropped out for tragic lore reasons. (i'm a good writer i swear i had good grades please come back)

⭐ a lot of my free time is spent writing my fanfic and making art relevant to my interests. i'd like to send a formal apology to my ocs who have gathered dust while i've been consumed by the sonic brainworms. when i'm not doing anything creative, i'm playin games and chatting on discord! currently replaying silent hill f and playing sonic rumble. sonic racing crossworlds is the reason i got sucked back into my sonic hyperfixation. i rarely play online, but maybe once in a while you'll see a Magiclueless in the lobby

extreme luck in all honesty, i ran (still do!) a community discord server for years which is how we ended up getting on speaking terms with the creator and over time we had a friendly back-and-forth! i was always very passionate about forums and advocated for stardew valley getting forums, so when they became real, i was offered the job. i am tremendously thankful for it and idk where i'd be today without it

This is tuff as frick, for a while now ive been wanting to get into Sonic and the sort but i just dont know how to get into it, do you have any recs like certain games to play, shows, comics, etc?
yooo thank you! there's plenty of decent entry points into sonic but they have their pros and cons TBH. i would recommend sonic frontiers since it's pretty solid gameplay wise and connects a lot of the canon together. if you want to get into the classic games, you can't go wrong with sonic origins which has the first 4 games. my personal favorite sonic game is sonic adventure 2, i think it's a fantastic game but just keep in mind the jank of the time period really (i think both adventure games slap). the paramount movies (the ones that are titled sonic 1-3) are GREAT but they're set in a different canon, however, they are genuinely good movies and they treat the characters pretty faithfully for the most part. for the comics, definitely go for the IDW comics and just start from #1 and go from there-- there are some side stories but they're not required reading (some of them are really good tho)
